Jamie Miller, MSW, MSPH, is the assistant director of chronic disease prevention and management at HPC. In that role, she oversees the Southeastern Pennsylvania Tobacco Control Project as well as HPC’s enforcement of and education about tobacco sale laws in Philadelphia. She also works across divisions at HPC to integrate the organization’s chronic disease prevention and management efforts.
Ms. Miller joined HPC in September 2011, bringing extensive experience in the field of health promotion and education. More specifically, she has worked in the areas of youth tobacco use prevention, breast cancer survivorship education, and the elimination of health disparities. She also sits on the board of directors for the Enterprise Center Community Development Corporation and the Mary Ryan Foundation.
Ms. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from James Madison University and a Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
